About Right Now TV
Right Now TV is a digital broadcast television network headquartered in Atlanta, GA. With the slogan “Tougher than the Rest”, Right Now TV primarily targets men, but has programs that women will also enjoy. The network will launch on October 15, 2018 with CEO Rob Coker and President Matt Riviera spearheading the operation.
Right Now TV will broadcast a mixture of combat sports (wrestling, MMA, boxing), music (concerts, documentaries), health & fitness (mens’ & womens’ health, weight training, dating advice), as well as select automotive programs, classic TV shows, and talk shows.
The network carries 10 hours of weekly E/I children’s programming in compliance with federal broadcasting regulations.
All affiliates within the Right Now TV Network will have five advertising minutes per hour and well as their own page on Right Now TV website.
The programming schedule will be modified no more than each quarter to maintain a consistent opportunity for viewers to find their favorite shows easier.
Rob Coker – Founder and CEO
Rob, earned a degree in business management from Northwood University and a video editing and production degree from Full Sail Center University. His extensive 30-year track record includes live network sports, video editing and compositing, video production, project management, and the implementation of state-of-the- art graphics packages for major networks including TBS, CBS, TNT, NBC Sports, ESPN, and FOX. In addition, Rob has worked in partnership with leading national broadcast networks and Fortune 100 corporations to deliver programming via broadcast and online. He managed creative services production for all Turner Sports broadcasts that used virtual and 3D graphics, including NFL, NCAA, NASCAR, MLB, and NBA 3D technology.
Matt Riviera – President
Matt earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Harding University. Matt’s extensive & storied career in the entertainment industry spans 20 years & includes live event promoting, acting, a former 3x NWA World Tag Team champion as a professional wrestler, and a contracted Reality television star on VH1 & Bravo networks. Through the creation of the CWA organization, Matt has held multiple charity events benefiting those with developmental disabilities, medical issues, and victims of tragedies, working with such organizations as the Special Olympics, as well as area businesses. He currently oversees multiple television productions and plays an integral role behind-the-scenes as a director & producer shaping the creative direction of various media entities.
Frank Ed Thornton – Vice President of Media Relations
Frank is a graduate of Northeastern State University, earning a Business Administration degree. He has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years as an accomplished musician, songwriter, performer, and television writer. Behind the scenes, he is skilled & experienced in many facets including editing, public relations, and performance management.
